NOVEMBER 7th-10TH , 2013
Far and near quilters are talking about the wonderful time they have when they come to our retreat and their plans for what they are going to work on for the next one.  Are you wondering what they do at retreat?  Well grab your fabric stash and listen in on what is about to happen at this years retreat.  You get to play with your fabric, exchange ideas with other quilters; you get to sew all weekend at your own pace, early morning or late night or all day in between.  You bring your projects that you want to start, or finish or just look at and share what you have gotten done so far on it.  Are you stuck on a technique?  Bring the project, there is sure to be someone that can guide you.  When you are ready to take a break, you have a lovely ranch to take a stroll around and enjoy the outdoors.  There is just so much fun and sewing that you don’t want to miss out on this years retreat at Wonder Valley.
Here is the best part, you don’t have to cook, do laundry, do dishes or play taxi driver for the whole weekend.  Do I have your attention now?  It is a good time to finish those projects for the holidays.
There will be drawings during the weekend, show and tell and of course a game or two.  There will be a challenge that is a secret for now.  This will be announced at a later date.
This is a fun weekend for new members to come and learn about the guild and what we do, to get acquainted with other members.  Of course to join in on all the fun you have to come.
Our retreat is open to members and their guest.  Come Thursday at 1:00 pm and enjoy 8 meals starting with dinner on Thursday night.  Come on Friday at 1:00 pm and enjoy 5 meals starting with dinner Friday night.  We will have brunch on Sunday and the retreat will end at 3:00 pm for those last die hard quilters.
Good news is that with the cost of things going up, Wonder Valley has been able to keep the same price for us as last 2 years.
