Lecture: Confessions of the Quilt Police
Ann Turley began a wonderful journey through life as a quilt instructor ten years ago, offering programs and workshops to quilt guilds across the country. Somewhere along the line she also became a trained judge as well, working behind the scenes at county fairs, quilt shows, and other regional and national events.
She lives in a lovely area of Fallbrook, CA, with her husband where they enjoy the rural lifestyle our friendly village offers. Her work is created from a restless desire to express herself in fabric, texture and image. She's excited when faced with unusual scenarios and often use them as the foundation for a project. She's does her best work when she give herself no boundaries, no deadlines and only a loose idea of where she wants her work to lead.
Each day is a new adventure in art. Her work is different from yesterday, changing today, and heading in a new direction tomorrow.
