Dear Fellow Quilters,

It is early spring in the Valley.  The weather is beautiful and the days are longer.  This would be a good time to participate in a quilt class to learn or enhance a new skill.   There are so many options for learning that are readily available to us.  In this digital age, YouTube videos and Pinterest may be your preferred avenue to enhance your quilting knowledge and fuel your inspiration.  We are able to explore new quilt making techniques by checking out books from our local libraries as well as purchasing them from our local quilt shops (LQS).  Our Programs committee members under the leadership of Carol Mercer have planned some outstanding workshops for us for the remainder of this year.  Workshops offered through the Guild are reasonably priced and offer a fun, supportive, hands on approach to learning.  Please take a moment to stop by the Programs table during our next Guild meeting to sign up for a class or two.    I hope each one of you make it a priority to find an enjoyable way to perfect your skills and enjoy the Art of Quilt.
